Does this device have integrated EDID handling? I would like to split the signal coming from the Switch2. This has not worked with conventional extractors.

The device has an HDMI repeater function and routes CEC and HDMI audio to the output (pass-through), which indicates integrated EDID handling. It signals the supported audio formats, including multi-channel 5.1 audio, to the HDMI source device and can process the HDMI signal accordingly. It is therefore suitable for splitting the signal from a switch, even if conventional extractors do not allow this.
