Hello, would it be possible to add refills for the 2.5kg reels to the range?
As I understand your question, you would have to ask Digitec yourself.
My experience with the 2.5 kg spool is this:
This is only a spool for really heavy printers. I have tried rewinding part of the spool onto smaller spools.
Moderate success. Accurate rewinding is difficult and it is also of great importance what tension is given to the fillament. Since it is PLA, it is questionable whether such a spool is worthwhile anyway.
I hope I have helped you further.
I have to agree with pit099 that this question should actually go to Digitec. But just because I have received an e-mail from Digitec asking me to answer the question, I will of course do so ;-) ;-) ;-) I would like to add to pit099's answer.
I need PLA to test models for functionality. If they work, I take a more suitable filament (depending on the application in terms of stability, heat sources, UV resistance, etc.) The test models then usually end up in the trash, which is why I always look for cheap promotions or discounted offers for PLA, which was also the case here when I bought it.
With regard to rewinding onto a smaller roll, I have copied the Filament Spool Switcher & Winder from Miklos Kiszely (there are now 86 remixes)

I used it to rewind this 2.5kg spool onto three approx. 800g spools in 15 minutes. I use the hand crank and can feel the tension of the filament well. I had no problems printing them with the Bambulab X1C. I think it would have been fine with any other printer.
I agree with pit099 in every respect, except for the rewinding. I was able to achieve good results with this spooler.
