Hello, what is the difference between this and the: Eizo CG2730 (27", 2560 x 1440 pixels)? And why is it cheaper?
The CG2730 is much better than the CS2731 because it calibrates itself with the built-in calibrator and the CG monitor also includes the anti-reflective coating, which must be purchased with the CS 2731. CG monitors were developed for the requirements of professional photographers, for amateurs the CS 2731 is sufficient.
The main difference between the two monitors is the colour calibration sensor built into the "CG2730". In addition, the "CG2730" has a light protection screen and the native contrast ratio of 1500:1 instead of 1000:1 improves the black levels as well as the contrast. For ambitious beginners, for example, the "CS2731" is still highly recommended, as the price-performance ratio is almost a little better :).
