The CS2731 is the first monitor in the ColorEdge product series to feature a USB Type-C connection with 60 W output. With a single USB Type-C cable, you can display videos, transmit USB signals, and supply power to a connected device such as a smartphone or notebook. No additional cable is required for calibration.

The USB Type-C connection delivers up to 60 W of power, allowing even high-end notebooks to remain charged while working. This leaves room for an additional external power supply.

All ColorEdge models are equipped with the ASIC chip (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) developed by EIZO specifically for the needs of the graphics industry. The chip uses proprietary algorithms to achieve high-precision color processing and evenly fine tonal gradations.

The ASIC chip is used to set the gamma level of each monitor at the factory, ensuring that individual color tones are displayed as desired and without color banding.

Irregularities in brightness and chrominance in different areas of the screen are characteristic of LCD monitors. EIZO's patented Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) function compensates for these irregularities and ensures a consistent display across the entire screen area.

A large color space allows the entire Adobe RGB color space to be displayed, ensuring that images captured in Adobe RGB format are displayed correctly. The colors in images that show a bright blue sky and lush green forests are reproduced as true to life as is not possible with sRGB color space displays. The large color space also ensures a complete representation of the CMYK color system (ISO Coated and US Web Coated).

The gamma values are individually adjusted at the factory for each monitor. For this purpose, the red, green, and blue gamma values are measured from 0 to 255. Using the 16-bit look-up table (LUT), the desired values for the 256 color tones are then selected.
