Question about Lindy Bidirectional HDCP Converter
Hello together If I have a TV that only understands 1.4 but the receiver transmits 2.2, it should work with the Lindy. But what if the receiver then receives 1.4 material from another source? Does the Lindy then automatically upgrade from 1.4 to 2.2, which my TV would then no longer understand? Many thanks for the information
No, it does not. I use the converter between the TV and a Denon receiver with HDCP 2.2 capability. The Sunrise Box is the only source that delivers HDCP 2.2. Bluray player, PS4 etc. do not. Works perfectly with all sources, but must be supplied with power via the USB connection.
