Question about Lindy USB C – USB C
Hello Together I have a new Dell U3219Q monitor with USB-C port and KVM switch. With the supplied Gen2 5A cable I can charge my laptop, transfer images and also control the keyboard and mouse attached to the monitor. However, the cable supplied is only 1 m long. Is this cable also suitable for image transmission? Power up to 5A is possible and so is data, as far as I have seen.

I also have the DELLU3219Q and exactly this cable via usb3 on the notebook (hp elite something). 3840x2160 60p resolution works for me. USB KVM switch also works. I don't have a notebook power supply on it any more, since it is charged via usb3.

Everything works for me too. The 1.5m cable connects the laptop to a w-w jack adapter. This in turn is connected to an adapter with charging cable for laptop, HDMI with 4k screen and USB with keyboard/mouse. All no problem.

My laptop is connected to the docking station via this cable. Charging, image transfer, Lan, USB etc. work perfectly.
