Hello, I have a Sony KDL 55 EX-725 made in 2011. It is not a 4k TV and the HDCP standard should be 1.4. After several exchanges of correspondence, Sony support only told me that they were sorry about the HDMI connection and never confirmed the 1.4 HDCP standard, only mentioned the possibility of using an optical SPIDF cable. --- The FS signal comes via cable into the Sagemcom digital HD recorder RCI-1000 KD/E. --- Now I want to connect an AV receiver Onkyo TX-NR 656 with HDCP standard 2.2 in between as a control centre. After really hours of trying, I am completely at my wits' end. Sony doesn't give any clear information and there are plenty of converters. Would the Lindy Bi HDCP converter be the saviour? I would be really grateful for any help!
