Question about LaCie Rugged Mini
Hello :) I have a rather older Macbook Pro (mid 2015) which still has the larger, square USB (A?) ports on the right and left. Now I don't quite understand whether the LaCie Rugged Mini "Micro USB" or "USB C" variant comes with the appropriate cables? Or do I have to find an extra cable myself?

An extra cable or adapter must be purchased. The scope of delivery is clearly listed. The manufacturers save wherever possible. Besides, several cables would also be a waste of raw materials.

Your Macbook Pro (mid 2015) has two Thunderbolt 2 ports as well as two USB 3 ports (type A). At the time, I had both a cable for Type A and Type C. According to the current scope of delivery, however, only one cable with a type C connection is apparently supplied...
I assume that the "square" connection is a Firewire connection. I still use it with older video cameras. I actually have a cable that can connect a Rugget to it. But the Rugget is also old and much thicker than the new Mini.
I can only recommend that you go to an Apple shop or an Apple representative and take your laptop and Rugget with you to try it out.
