Question about Tefal FR8040 Oleoclean Pro Oil Fryer / Deep Fryer

Hello everyone. After previously consulting you, I ordered the fryer with a delivery period of 2 - 5 days. Without any feedback to me, I have now seen that you have postponed the delivery time to approx. 6 - 8 weeks. Why are you not informed? Why do I have to wait until there is no delivery and then find out that next weekend fries are desired? What is the binding delivery deadline now, please? Do I now have to check your website every day to see a vague delivery date? If I don't want the appliance any more: How do I have to proceed? Thank you
