Hello Community It is not clear to me from the operating instructions how the energy measurement works in detail. The display of volts, amps and watts is clear: they show the current values. The energy measurement, i.e. the kWh display, is a power measurement over a period of time. I want to measure the consumption of my refrigerator. The compressor only runs intermittently; there are intervals with consumption and intervals without. Can I connect the device and after a week read off the accumulated consumption during this time? How do I reset this meter without having to reset the entire unit in order to start a new measurement for another consumer?
Yes, that's what the meter is for. It adds up the kilowatt hours and the price until you reset it. Amps, Volts & Watts are of course only displayed during the current consumption. And so that you can also install the device in inaccessible places, it needs a battery so that you can read the values after unplugging it.
You can reset kilowatt hours and the price by pressing and holding the Func button. All other settings are retained.
And by the way, the enclosed operating instructions are very good, multilingual and easy to understand.
