Question about Transmedia HDMI Type A - HDMI Type A
Hello, can you tell me how the 507 and 508 series of active fibre hybrid HDMI cables from Transmedia differ? I am looking for the most reliable 4K transmission over a distance of approx. 30 metres. The price difference made me sit up and take notice. Why is the C508 cable three times more expensive if it only transmits 4K instead of 8K?

Digitec should actually be able to answer that. I bought the C 507-30m cable for around CHF 72.00. It transmits the laptop data perfectly to the projector in a large room. On the packaging it says in very large letters: 8K_60Hz/ 4K_120Hz/eARC/YUV 4:4:4/3D/HDR/HDCP2.2 / Transmedia Profilstrasse 11 / D-58093 HAGEN
Perhaps you can do something with this information. Possibly information from the manufacturer in Hagen.
