Yes, in fact the device comes with a cable for charging via the cigarette lighter. But as the output power of the 12 V socket is only ~120 Watts, you need 10 hours for a full charge (from 0 to 100%). For accelerated recharging, it's better to use the 220 V from a household socket or to fit the vehicle with BLUETTI's Charger 1, which supplies ~500 Watts from the vehicle's alternator.
Yes, you can charge the Bluetti via the cigarette lighter. But this is more theoretical: I was only able to charge 2% of the Bluetti's capacity in 2 hours of driving. Do the maths! And when the car is not running, the voltage of the car battery is lower, so it probably doesn't charge at all. Conclusion: After half a week without mains power, I had to drive to the village and recharge at a 220 V socket. That's quick. One more thing: the Bluetti draws power for itself in idle mode, about 10 W by calculation. This is not stated anywhere, and is still a lot when the sun is not shining. I only realised this during practical operation. The battery as such is great. Even the Nespresso coffee machine works, but then draws about 1 % of the battery power with every cup of coffee. Just to say. Greetings Renato
