Question about Velleman Vertex K8400 (Kit)
Hello can someone here tell me the Velleman original settings my printer only prints on the edge..... Somehow I find it lacks orientation. Don't know where to set this,,,,, thought Cura always does this.....

As a former K8400 user, I can recommend a firmware reinstall. It will reset all settings to the 3D printer factory defaults. You can download the latest firmware from the Vertex website. You can also reinstall Cura right away. At the beginning it will ask you which 3D printer you are using and then it will set the settings automatically.
I no longer lift the K8400. If you have not changed the firmware, the problem is in the Cura profile (wrong print bed size). Download Marlin firmware (currently 2.0.7.2) and configuration-release. In the folder Configuration-release-2.0.7.2\config\examples\Velleman\K8400 you will find Configuration ( Dual-head or Single-head). Simply copy the two files (Configuration.h and Configuration_adv.h) into Marlin Firmware and replace them. This way you will get much better Marlin 2 firmware. You still need Arduino IDE.
