Hello all I have read from some users that this monitor is not suitable for 1080p and that the picture looks horrible. Does anyone know if this also applies to the ps4 (not the pro, the normal 1080p)? Do you see the blurry picture as well? Because on bigger TVs the ps4 doesn't look blurry at all and I don't really understand why it should look horrible on this monitor. Thanks for the feedback.
1080p works for me without any problems :-)
I also use the device primarily as an office monitor with 4k resolution and am actually quite satisfied with it. Because I sit relatively close to the screen, there are quite large viewing angle differences towards the corners. At the edges (2-3mm), this sometimes gives the impression that you are looking through a glass plate into the monitor. Nevertheless, I am positively surprised by a device in this price range. Both work and games in 4k run perfectly. I just changed the setting to 1920x1080 and started "War Thunder". Due to the small distance to the screen, the picture looks less great with all details activated (RTX 2080Ti). However, this is probably less due to the device than to the unfortunate constellation. In any case, it is probably a matter of time before a device with 4k capability is connected to the monitor - so in terms of price/performance, it is a justifiable investment for the future...
Unfortunately, the monitor broke after a few months. The picture quality is suboptimal. The service from LG is practically non-existent. There is only trouble with this monitor. So hands off. By the way, the Acer monitor is no better.
