Question about Dell S3422DWG
Hello all. Is anyone else having trouble connecting this monitor to a Mac Book Air from 2015 via mini Display Port? I can't get the resolution right and can only select 1080P at most. Apple support didn't have an answer either. According to the specifications of the Mac, it should be able to handle the resolution. Thank you.

I assume that you are using some kind of adapter - this could of course affect the resolution. You would also have to pay attention to the connection cable, as there are several video transmission standards. Finally, after research, I found that this can happen with some versions of macOS: https://discussions.apple.com/thread.... Unfortunately, I do not know of a tested solution to the problem.
