Hello all, Does the dock support (or does anyone have experience with) alternating connection of two laptops (in my case a Win10 laptop from Dell and a MacBookPro). I run both laptops on the same dock with monitor/keyboard/mouse/network connected and have to switch between the two devices several times a day. Thought I can now just plug the USB-C Thunderbold cable over from one laptop to the other and everything switches over nicely, this is unfortunately not the case. The network doesn't seem to be able to cope with the switch, I don't get a connection to my router after the second switch at the latest and can only fix this by resetting the dock (disconnecting the power and reconnecting it). Should the dock support switching from one laptop to another? Can other docks do this? Thanks for your tips and help. Markus
Hello Markus
I also use 2 laptops with the doc.station (Dell and Lenovo, WIN10), also with regular switching of the devices. With me, the 2nd monitor also needs a little help, sometimes it is recognised directly when booting up, sometimes not. But the problem is solved by plugging the Thunderb. cable into the laptop. I have no failures with the network. What kind of network cable do you have? I use digitec Ethernet patch cable RJ45 S/FTP, Cat. 6a, 10m.
Greetings
