Has anyone changed from the Artisan 4.8L to the 6.9? If so, for what reason? Is the 4.8 strong enough for a dough with 1kg of flour? Does the 4.8L run away with a firm dough? THANK YOU :)
I am thinking of changing. 1kg bread dough doesn't work in the 4.8l bowl - I manage 1 sourdough bread a 700g with it (so approx. 500g flour plus approx.300ml water) ... if I want to make more I have to stir it in 2 bowls and then combine them.
