Question about Creative Sound BlasterX G6

Good evening, perhaps you can help me. My old micro ish cable is defective. I have ordered this one from you. Ugreen Micro USB - USB A 2 m, USB 2.0, 18 W Unfortunately there is no sound, the G6 turns on but I can't get any sound. Can you recommend a new cable that would work? LG Chris

Testing a new cable makes sense in principle. However, it is also possible that the g6 is defective. Have you already tried a reset? To reset the Creative Sound Blaster G6, press and hold the Scout mode button and the volume control at the same time for 5 seconds. Unfortunately, many people have had the problem of sporadic dropouts with the G6 for years, which can only be solved by resetting or reconnecting the cable. I am currently considering switching to a different device myself.
