getting very hot when its USB port is plugged in USB-2 host getting mildly warm when its USB-C port is plugged in USB-3 host

Its very very hot and very very slow to write.

Same here, very hot while its USB port connected to laptop's USB3 port; USB-C to phone is better but maybe due to shorter connection time; could not test USB-C to laptop yet; its metal enclosure looks nice but sounds problematic in use (needs to wrap with tissue to unplug!), unless this heating is a flaw.
