For a few days now, this object has been almost CHF 200 cheaper at the other big competitor. Will Galaxus follow suit here? I don't really want to buy from another shop.

It will probably be an "import" version. I don't know what that means in terms of warranty. Moreover, the lens is practically not available anywhere else.

Then I would buy from the competitor as long as the promotion is running. Galaxus certainly doesn't reveal anything about planned price cuts here.
