The lens is ideal for travelling, sports and wildlife photography thanks to its compact size and light weight. It offers professional functions in a compact format and does not take up much space in your equipment bag.

In addition to the ASC coating (Air Sphere Coating), the lens has 4 UD lenses to correct aberrations and a 9-blade iris diaphragm which, together with the constant speed of 1:4, enables an attractive bokeh - even at the close focusing distance of approx. 0.6 metres.

The optical 5-stop image stabiliser enables reliable hand-held shots.
