Exactly my thing - only: unfortunately, the USB-C connection is on the wrong side (HP Spectre notebook has the USB-C connection on the other side)...

Hello,

The docking station comes with replacement rubber pads just for these cases. You can place them on top and in this case use the docking station "upside down".
