Does this printer really have a power consumption of almost 1000 watts? Galaxus description: Power consumption: 620 W Output: 960 W Brack described: Power consumption operation: 580 W Power consumption standby: 70 W What's the truth? Does it really consume that much power? Please help. Thank you :)
In practice, the power consumption of the printer during operation is around 600 W, e.g. according to the Brack specifications. The specified power of 960 W describes the maximum power consumption, e.g. during the warm-up phase, and appears to correspond to measured values. During the warm-up phase, the high power consumption can shorten the duration and reduce heat losses, which is theoretically more efficient. This value is particularly relevant in order to optimally distribute devices to fuses - however, I have never had a fuse blow.
My results measured with wattmeter.
Switched off via button 0W
Standby (display off) between 0.5W and 1.2W
Display on without activities 5.6W to 7.3W
Scanning 11.5W
Printing
Warm-up phase 1050W for approx. 10s
Subsequent double-sided printing approx. 21W
According to the technical data sheet, the consumption is as follows:
Printing/copying: 620W
Printing/copying in quiet mode: 310W
Standby mode: 70 W
Sleep mode: 10 W
Deep sleep: 0.65 W
Switched off: 0.04 W
That can't be right: I looked at several sites...the following seems to be the most realistic:
Copy: 620W Copy in sleep mode: 310W Print: 620W Print in quiet mode: 310W Ready: 70W Sleep: 10W Deep sleep: 0.65W Power off: 0.04W (*13) (*23)
Hope it helps you
I have just measured the printer electronically.
In print mode = approx. 1050 W
Then for about 5 minutes = 6.5 W
Afterwards in standby (deep sleep) no more current measurable apparently it operates the consumption via an internal battery
P.S
The specifications at Galaxus are simply grottoes bad and that for all products
