Question about Manfrotto MH494 Mini ball head with 200PL-PRO

Does this head fit the Manfrotto MM290C4? I bought a 600 zoom and want to be able to switch between the tripod and monopod quickly and have the same plate on both. At the moment I have the Manfrotto Befree. Will it fit or is it a stupid idea?

The head fits the MM290C4. You don't write which head you use on the Befree, but if the head was in the kit, there is a high probability that the plates are the same. How much sense it makes to switch frequently between 1-leg and 3-leg tripods probably depends on the camera system and especially personal preference/working/hobby technique. For me (and my areas of application), constantly changing and carrying two large tripods would be nothing.
