This tripod head is made from very durable, lightweight aluminum, making it extremely robust and strong enough to handle a load of up to 8 kg. It is the perfect solution for all types of mirrorless system cameras with zoom lenses and even medium-sized DSLRs. This advanced ball head combines user-friendliness with high functionality and features three independent controls: a main knob to operate the ball lock, an independent friction control, and an independent panorama lock that allows the camera to move horizontally for stunning landscape shots. The 494 ball head is equipped with a unique quick-release plate that is compatible with Manfrotto RC2 and Arca-Swiss. This allows for almost all cameras to be attached quickly and effortlessly without the need to disassemble any components. The design of the 494 ball head makes setup extremely easy and ensures reliable use in any shooting situation.
