Does this cable work perfectly with a MacBook Pro 16 and my Samsung C27HG70? Also can it go to 120hz or 144hz with this cable?

It is supposed to work with any device that has USB-C that supports alternate mode (which allows a video signal to be passed through USB-C). MacBook Pros are normally equipped with this since 2015. However, it is limited to 60Hz.
