Does this base station also work when not connected to a Swisscom router?

According to our information, the base station is effectively only for Swisscom routers.
I also meant that it only works with Swisscom InterntBox. Unfortunately, we often had problems with the base stations, which is why we have now completely replaced the Swisscom base stations and telephones with Gigaset base stations and telephones.
