Question about OKI MC853dnv

we use the printer in a network with mainly mac users. it is very slow, not very ergonomic and doesn't print at all from certain older programs. you have to create pdf's first and print them. reinstalling the drivers doesn't help either. conclusion: i wouldn't recommend it (at least for mac users). from today's point of view, i wouldn't buy it again...

Printing from Parallels (Windows) is not an issue if the network is set up as a "bridge". This way Windows is directly in the same network with its own IP address and can use all devices directly. Of course, the appropriate driver must also be installed in Windows in this setup.
This "bridge" solution makes much more sense, as all printing functions and other network devices are available directly in Windows and not via a shared Mac printer.

I print via Linux (Cups) using the PPD drivers. In this case, the machine works without any problems. Since Mac is similar to Unix/Linux, the PPD drivers should also work there.
