Does the printer always have to be connected to the WLAN and the PC switched on during printing? Or is it enough to send the print job and then switch off the PC or even the WLAN?

yes, that's right, because the printer can't record all the data at once and the pc only passes on the data bit by bit, depending on the model, of course, the more complex the more data.
That is not true. With other printers, yes, but with the Da Vinci all data is transferred at once. After that, the PC/WLAN can be switched off! (I have the printer myself and always do it this way).
