Question about Corsair Hydro X Series XD3 RGB

Does the part have to hang on a wall or could it also be placed on the floor of the enclosure, for example, so that the IN/OUT used in the pictures point upwards? I have a desktop case from Lian Li, and it would certainly look great next to the power supply unit.
