Yes, I use it with FlightGear on an iMac. It may be that not all functions run under iOS, but I was able to adjust everything that I didn't like (reprogrammed a few switches, e.g. fixed flaps and landing gear).

Yes, the "thing" :-) also works without problems on Mac.
