Does the GPU only come in a double pack or why does it cost twice as much as usual? The xx80 models were actually always around 850.-CHF to 900.-CHF.
Among other things, because nVidia wants to see the 30x0 series sold out first.

They are more expensive to produce than before, but we're talking about $20 per IC, not $800+.
