Does the drone stabilise itself in the air? Especially if there is a bit of wind?

Helpful answer

Yes, it stabilises itself, but the films are a bit jerky in windy conditions.
Otherwise, the drone works very well.

Stabilisation is via optical sensor and not via GPS. However, there must be good lighting conditions.
It is better to spend a few francs more to enjoy flying. Already regarding flight time/flight distance (only possible via mobile phone, no controller available/intentional).
Photo quality good (UHD) - film only limited (stability: 2 axis gimbal/wind susceptibility: shaky shots).
Alternative: e.g. DJI Spark (2 axis gimbal/but "only" HD resolution - generally sufficient - Spark available with and without controller and other flight devices).
Hoover: + very light (therefore no additional insurance/liability necessary).
+ very safe: hardly any risk of injury due to the cage
+ batteries charge quickly
+ relatively compact - VHS cassette size - yes, I still remember what a VHS & cassette was... :-)
+ programme starts quickly
+ unit quickly ready to fly
+ meanwhile inexpensive - also the accessories
- Flight time/usage time
- operation only via mobile phone (handling of camera/flight)
- relatively loud
- Operating comfort of the "drone": Flight behaviour, manoeuvring, speed, range.
Suitable as an extended Selphy Stick/emergency drone - but not for landscape photography (connection: height/range).
Suitable as a beginner's copter and to survive first flight attempts unscathed (crash allowed, through the cage) - and without breaking major laws (weight/flight behaviour).
