Question about DJI Mavic Pro
Does the drone float? What happens in the event of a water landing (sea, lake)? Can it be used in the rain?

Doesn't float, I had to find out for myself... :(
Crashed into the Inn, for reasons I can't explain, from a height of about 10m, after I'd only had the drone for a few days. I hope for the insurance...
Oh yes: it is important to have a special liability insurance, because the MavicPro is heavier than 500g!

No the drone is quite solid metal/plastic. The drone would sink immediately. Cannot be used in the rain.
Regarding flight over water, the drone warns early on when there is not enough battery power left. The drone automatically returns to the starting point when the battery is low or the radio connection is lost. Therefore no major concerns about flying over water.

But you have to practice a bit to get nice shots.
