Question about ASUS Xonar Essence STX II 7.1
Does the card work with a 5.1 system or do I have to use a different sound card?
the settings give 2; 4; 6 and 8 channels - channels 6+7 can only be controlled "virtually" anyway - that is, via the optical output. (this answer has no claim to completeness or correctness - I just had a quick look at the back of the PC to see what's there ... ;))
