Does it also happen to you that when you tap the puck, the sieve falls out all the time? That wasn't the case with a previous De'Longhi Dedica, but it happens all the time with the new one.
The solution is a tapping cup with this "stick" in the centre.
Then you tap on the rod and the sieve can't possibly fall out.

It happens to us from time to time, but not always. But our machine is also a few years old. So I'm sure I have an older version. The springs have probably been changed.
