Does black/white printing still work when one (!) of the three colour cartridges is empty? Many printers require that all cartridges contain some colour - otherwise no printout at all (not even b/w) is possible. Is this also the case with this model? I want to avoid having to run to the shop before I can print anything black/white when one colour runs out. Can someone test (or has already tested) if/what happens when a colour is completely removed from the printer - will black/white printing still work? Thank you.
Does the scanner scan with two single scan lines at the same time or does it have to turn the sheet over? Do both pages on the same scan line?
Hello, the following is my experience. The printer reports very early and asks for new toner. I just confirmed that it was ok to continue printing every time I switched on and replaced the toner only when it was really empty and the quality was insufficient. For months now the printer has been asking for new toner, but the quality is still good and I continue to print with the old toner.
