Does anyone use this headset only with a smartphone/iPhone? For group voice rooms etc via messenger? I would be interested to know if the microphone included in the cable is compatible?

You can connect the headset with AUX. The iPhones no longer have an AUX connection, but you can buy a Lightning-AUX adapter.
