Does anyone else have problems with the Bluetooth? That is, that the Rurak suddenly only plays the music via Bluetooth with interference and interruptions? Seems to be a problem with this device, according to my internet research. I regularly have to reset my device to factory settings, which is annoying because then all settings are deleted. I notice that it happens when I connect the Rurak to my mobile phone via Bluetooth and then someone calls. So it's not really useful for listening to music on a mobile phone....Help.

I now had the problem in Nov/Dec 2024, so that listening to music from the mobile Google Pixel 7 was no longer possible (the music stuttered incessantly. Reconnecting did not help. In the connection from Pixel 7 to Ruark R1 I have now switched off HD Audio: AAC and lo and behold, the connection is stable and listening to music on the Ruark is fun again.
A good, beautiful device that still gives pleasure even after a few years.

The problem of the disturbed / jerky Bluetooth connection is known and also relatively easy to reproduce. It occurs when the two devices (the Ruark R1 and the device to be connected, e.g. a smartphone) are too close to each other (less than approx. 1.5 metres) during the pairing process. It does not matter whether the Bluetooth function is first activated on the R1 or on the other device. Thus, some distance should always be kept during the pairing process. It is not necessary to reset the R1. It is sufficient to delete the Bluetooth device list and remove the R1 from the other device.

For my part, I haven't heard much with Bluetooth. When I tried it, it worked, but the volume seemed somewhat limited at the time. Unfortunately, that's all I can help with.
