Do you know what kind of plastic she uses? I've tried to find it but I can't. And what type of cable do you recommend?
If you have no experience of 3D printing, you should start with PLA.
I don't understand the question about the cable.
On the product page, between the present questions and the section "You might like these items" are listed the accessories compatible with this model, including a few dozen filaments of different colours. :)
