Do the Espon XL cartridges have the same casing as the normal ones? Is it only the filling quantity that is different or can I not use XL with normal ones?

Yes, Epson 202XL cartridges have the same casing as normal cartridges, only the fill quantity is different.
the xl have the same housing as the normal ones , but with different filling capacity.
