Question about HyperX Cloud Alpha

I have the Cloud II headphones but the construction is identical and I've already used both ear pads and can't hear anything. Have you already changed or refitted them? Yes, it is definitely the leatherette ear pads that crackle after a while. I'm sure it's due to the heat generated when wearing the headset.

If I lay the headset on its side for a few minutes, the pads crackle again after 15-20 minutes.

I still have the CloudX for the Xbox One and neither the faux leather nor the velour pads crackle.

Well, I will sell the Cloud and buy another headset.
