Pixel devices generally have the best prerequisites for installing new OS. I have already installed new OSes on several Google Pixel devices - all of them purchased from Digitec or Google itself. They were never "carrier-locked" as neither is a carrier where you buy the device. So it *might* look different if you were to buy your Pixel 10 from Sunrise, Swisscom, etc. ;-)
