Yes, it needs an SD Mini Card. Otherwise very satisfied. Small and handy for on the road
The unit has only a small memory. The external memory (SD card mini) has the advantage that you can easily transfer the music to another device with external memory. However, the sound quality of the device is not exactly exhilarating. If you have good headphones, it is better to invest a little more.
Needs an SD mini memory card, music must be stored on the card, works fine.
