Did I read correctly that there is no toner included in the delivery? i.e. I have to buy an additional toner first in order to use it?

I'm afraid I don't know where you read "no toner included". According to the data sheet, a standard toner TN-2410
for approx. 1,200 pages is included in the scope of delivery: https://www.brother.de/-...
