Could someone from the field please answer the following questions for me. Thank you very much in advance! How long does the battery last in stand-by mode ? Is the device suitable for outdoor activities like hiking, biking, skiing etc. or does it break easily ? Is a sturdy protective cover (suitable for outdoor use) available for it ?

I charge my battery when the battery level is around 20%. I charge it to about 80-85%. I then use the phone for about 36-48 hours. I use it a lot during the day and switch it to flight mode at night.

All I have around the phone is the bumper that comes with it. I have easily dropped it 20 times from various heights. It still looks like it did on the first day.

Since the bumper seems to be doing its job, I haven't bothered with a cover.

I can only agree with this. Battery time is easily over 2 days and the bumper ensures that nothing goes wrong...
