Question about Canon PIXMA MG3650S

WPS connection method (Recommended)
1. preparation: Switch on the printer and make sure that the WLAN and ON lights are lit (not flashing).
2. press the WLAN button: Press and hold the WLAN button on the printer until the ON light flashes.
3rd button sequence: Press the black copy button and then the WLAN button. The WLAN light will now start to flash quickly.
4. press the router button: Press the WPS button (plus button) on your WLAN router (within approx. 2 minutes). The WPS button (plus button) should now flash.
5. connection: Wait until both the ON light and the WLAN light on the printer light up continuously. The connection is established.
6. download the installation software for your printer model from canon.ch and install the printer software.

Exactly. Connect via USB, install and if you have any questions during installation, click on WLAN as the connection. Only disconnect the cable on request. Good luck

I had the same problem but then connected with a USB cable and installed the printer via the Canon website. Works perfectly

I had these problems too. Now have a printer from HP!
