Can this device also be connected to the cable (UPC) ? Does DAB+ also work with cable connection or only FM?

Yes, you can, but you need an adapter or a UPC cable that has the connection for a DAB radio at the other end. The DAB+ radio will then no longer work, but you will get the stations that UPC has switched on via the built-in FM receiver.
