Can this cable be used to connect 2 1440p monitors (with built-in daisy chaining) to a Thunderbolt 3 port?
Yes this will work. The monitor you plug it into first MUST have an Out output. If this is the case, monitor 1 can simply be connected to monitor 2 and it should work.
