Can the volume of the chat and sound be adjusted individually with this headset? This is the most important point for me. I have a Turtle Beach headset at the moment and it doesn't work no matter what I do. Never again Turtle Beach.

no, only the overall volume. the rest must be set via the respective programme.

Chat is set normally via the programme (Teamspeak etc.). The sound is set via the game or music (Itunes etc.).
I would have to check and test directly via the headset.

I have been using the headset for well over a year now and as far as I know the volume control on the headset can only be used to adjust the overall volume. However, it is helpful to have the Windows volume mixer open to adjust the volume of individual programmes. (Works with any audio device)
